The Story Behind Dr. Alfred Libby's
Revolutionary B Vitamin Breakthrough
Alfred Libby, M.D., holds five doctorates and is recognized as one of the world's foremost authorities on therapeutic nutrition.
Dr. Libby's medical background in bio-chemical research includes an association with Nobel Prize Laureate, Dr. Linus Pauling.
In the late '70s, Dr. Alfred F. Libby, a renowned authority on therapeutic nutrition and long-time associate of Dr. Linus Pauling, began to explore an area that at the time received little attention - treating drug addiction with nutritional therapies. Dr. Libby worked primarily with heroin addicts and was reluctant to administer B-12 injections, eventhough he knew his patients were in desperate need of B Vitamins.

In early spring of 1980, Dr. Libby approached his colleagues about his new theory that B-12 could be delivered to the bloodstream sublingually - under the tongue. Biochemists and his medical colleagues were quick to dismiss the idea, however, he was persistent and they eventually decided to give his theory a try, convinced it would fail.

Six weeks later the first clinical trial was underway and shortly after, Dr. Libby's Sublingual B-12 invention was deemed a complete success - blood levels of B-12 went from 1.2% to over 90% ! Since then, this renowned pioneer in nutritional therapies has significantly improved his formula with the addition of B-6 and Folic Acid, designing a B Vitamin supplement that is completely unique and second to none.
